Hey Podcast subscribers, and (hopefully) future podcast subscribers, there's good news! Computer Guys Dave and Kevin are back on the radio, and back on itunes as well. It's the same show, different day though for you WHTC listeners on the West Michigan lakeshore...they are on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 5pm every week so call in during that time (EST) at 616-395-1450 to ask questions or give commentary. TOPICS ON THIS SHOW: There's major releases on tap for Playstation and Nintendo for the gamers, and already a release from Microsoft with the new Zune player and Zune marketplace (a conversation which I HAD to call in and put my two cents in about) and of course they were takin calls and giving helpful tips. Sad to say, but the Computer Guys had to say goodbye to listeners on WHTC in Holland, and all of you guys downloading the podcast. It's been a really fun experience working with Dave and Kevin, they made the show so much more than just an average computer talk program. Download the show, it's a must, and don't completely abandon this podcast because hopefully there will be something (ideally with Dave and Kevin) that we'll put on here. Anyway, there was the announcement of Amazon's new video service and some speculation about Apple offering the same thing on iTunes. Kevin, Cam, and myself (producer Josh) had a lively discussion about tech support and how a lot of it is going over to India, Windows Vista taking forever to come out (it just better not crash constantly), and as always we went to the phone lines too. Good news for Blackberry owners out there, Dave and Kevin talk about the lawsuit that had been keeping blackberry users on their toes. Also a look into the new Windows OS (Vista)...why in the world are there so many different versions though? There's more DSL talk, and do you get a bunch of emails that try to get you to forward them on so some kid named Timmy can have his left arm replaced (or something like that)? As much as I hate to say it, there's.....new viruses are out for macintosh computers, on a positive note though the winner for the 1 billionth itunes song download has been announced.
